Stollen:

The stollen is a traditional German bread like cake filled with spices and dried fruits. As it has a long history, there are so many different types of stollen around. In my version of stollen, there are dried mixed fruits soaked in dark rum for a month, as well as spices, walnuts and chestnuts.(No marzipan is in it but you can add it when you do at your home) As it preserves well, it is perfect for a Christmas present. You are going to make one stollen and take the whole stollen home.(Christmas wrapping included) You will be able to taste a week old stollen at the lesson.(The stollen has more taste after a week of being made and onward)

Japanese traditional savoury rolls filled with Ham, Cheese and Onion:

These are the traditional Japanese savoury bread, the soft white roll filled with the goodies. You can fill with almost any filling you like. Looks great, tastes great and perfect for packed lunch as well.

Vegetarian option, filled with Caramelized onion chutney and Manchego cheese and sauteed portabella mushrooms on top.

You are going to make 4 rolls and have one of them as lunch served with home-made winter warmer soup. You will take the rest of them home.
